Bio

A 1993 graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada, Patrick Olafson is a versatile artist who has carved out a place for himself in Quebec’s cultural landscape for over 30 years. Since graduating, Patrick has worked in television, film, theatre, musical theatre, advertising, and singing dubbing, and has also dabbled in directing and producing. Singing quickly became a natural fit, and he has been fully committed to it for the past 20 years.

In 2007, he recorded a tribute album to the music of Michel Legrand and has since performed numerous solo shows throughout Quebec. In 2008, he founded TOCADÉO, a male vocal quartet. The group has recorded eight albums and toured extensively throughout Quebec, Canada, and Europe. Over the years, it has received two ADISQ Gala nominations and two Silver Tickets for selling more than 50,000 tickets.

In 2025, Patrick returned to the musical theatre scene, playing the role of Khashoggi in the Quebec and Toronto productions of We Will Rock You. He will also appear in the French production of Les Misérables, which will be performed in the summer of 2026.
